New worlds for old: A plain account of modern socialism

Om denne boken

"New Worlds for Old: A plain account of modern socialism" by H. G. Wells is a socialist treatise published in 1908. Wells argues for replacing private ownership with a society based on collective service and responsibility. He critiques both revolutionary Marxism and bureaucratic Fabian socialism, advocating instead for "constructive socialism" achieved through a collective consciousness. For Wells, socialism is fundamentally a moral and intellectual process rather than a political movement—a vision that influenced an entire generation of British socialists.
