Om denne boken
"John Inglefield's Thanksgiving" by Nathaniel Hawthorne is a short story written in 1840. It appears in Hawthorne's final published collection, *The Snow-Image, and Other Twice-Told Tales*, released in 1851. The collection represents a turning point in Hawthorne's career, as he had largely moved away from short fiction after his previous anthology. This Thanksgiving tale stands among fifteen stories and sketches that Hawthorne selected for what would become his least commercially successful but personally significant work, dedicated to a lifelong friend.
