Om denne boken
"A Man of Means" by P. G. Wodehouse is a collection of six interconnected short stories written in collaboration with C. H. Bovill in 1914. The stories follow Roland Bleke, an ordinary young clerk whose sudden financial windfall becomes more curse than blessing. From escaping an unwanted engagement to dealing with unscrupulous financiers and theatrical types, Roland navigates a series of comic misadventures where wealth consistently complicates his life. Each episode builds upon the last, chronicling his meteoric and chaotic career.
