Om denne boken

"Cosmic Consciousness: The Man-God Whom We Await" by Alexander J. McIvor-Tyndall is a philosophical and spiritual treatise written in the early 20th century. The book offers a deep exploration of the concept of cosmic consciousness and how it relates to spiritual awakening across various cultures and religions, particularly focusing on Eastern philosophies and their Western counterparts. The opening of the work contrasts Eastern and Western approaches to spirituality, emphasizing the quest for ultimate truth and liberation through what is termed cosmic consciousness. The author presents the idea that this heightened state of awareness transcends ordinary existence, allowing individuals to connect deeply with the universe. Various examples of individuals attaining such consciousness are introduced, setting the stage for a broader discussion on the nature of being, the illusion of the physical world, and the spiritual evolution of humanity toward a divine state.
