The Memoirs of Jacques Casanova de Seingalt, 1725-1798. Volume 27: Expelled from Spain

Om denne boken

"The Memoirs of Jacques Casanova de Seingalt, 1725-1798. Volume 27: Expelled…" is part of Giacomo Casanova's unfinished autobiography written in French during the late 18th century. This famous Venetian adventurer chronicles his extraordinary life in a sprawling 3,500-page memoir covering his experiences through 1774. The work survived a turbulent history—passed through family hands, sold to publishers, heavily censored, and mistranslated for over a century. The original manuscript, hidden during wartime bombings and finally restored, reveals Casanova's unvarnished account of his adventures across Europe's elite society.
