Om denne boken

"The Memoirs of Jacques Casanova de Seingalt, 1725-1798. Volume 01: Childhood" is an autobiography written in French beginning in 1789. This first volume chronicles the early life of Giacomo Casanova, the legendary Venetian adventurer, from his birth in 1725. Written during a serious illness, the memoirs reveal the formative years of a man who would become one of history's most fascinating figures. The manuscript's journey through censorship, translation, and piracy created decades of corrupted editions before the original French text was finally published in 1960.
