This biography aims to portray the life and character of one of America's most revered presidents, Abraham Lincoln, from his early beginnings in the frontier to his eventual role in leading the nation during a tumultuous civil war. At the start of the narrative, the author sets the stage by describing the environment and circumstances into which Lincoln was born and raised.
