About this book

"Ihminen ja yli-ihminen: Komedia ja filosofia" by Bernard Shaw is a four-act drama written in 1903. When wealthy Mr. Whitefield dies, his daughter Ann is placed under the guardianship of two unlikely men: venerable Roebuck Ramsden and revolutionary John Tanner. Despite Tanner's anarchist beliefs and resistance to marriage, the charming Ann has other plans. The play reimagines the Don Juan myth, including a philosophical debate in Hell between Don Juan and the Devil, exploring ideas about human nature and evolution.
