About this book
"Die Laune des Verliebten" by Johann Wolfgang von Goethe is a pastoral play in verse written between 1767-1768. In this shepherd's tale, Amine loves the moody, jealous Eridon, while her friend Egle enjoys a harmonious relationship with Lamon. As Eridon's jealousy threatens their bond, Egle devises a clever plan to expose his hypocrisy and restore balance. Through misunderstandings, accusations, and reconciliation, the young lovers navigate the turbulent moods of romance before heading together to a festival dance.
