About this book

"The Memoirs of Jacques Casanova de Seingalt, 1725-1798. Volume 13: Holland and…" is part of an autobiography written in French during the late 18th century by Venetian adventurer Giacomo Casanova. This volume continues Casanova's sprawling account of his life, spanning approximately 3,500 pages across twelve volumes. Written in the language of educated society, these memoirs chronicle his adventures through 1774. The original manuscript endured a dramatic journey through wars, censorship, and mistranslations before the unexpurgated version finally emerged in the 1960s.
