The Memoirs of Jacques Casanova de Seingalt, 1725-1798. Volume 12: Return to Paris

About this book

"The Memoirs of Jacques Casanova de Seingalt, 1725-1798. Volume 12: Return to…" is part of Giacomo Casanova's unfinished memoir written in French during the late 18th century. This volume continues the Venetian adventurer's life story, which spans 12 volumes and 3,500 pages covering his experiences through 1774. The memoirs remained censored and mistranslated for over a century until the original manuscript was finally published in the 1960s. Casanova's extraordinary autobiography offers an intimate glimpse into 18th-century European society through the eyes of its most notorious wanderer.
